Vietnam Main Bourse Adds NVL, ROS, SAB to VN30 Index
The free-float rate for NVL, ROS and SAB will be 35%, 25% and 15%, respectively.

The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) has added three new stocks namely Novaland (NVL), FLC Faros Construction (ROS) and Sabeco (SAB) to the basket of the VN30 Index, which comprises of the 30 biggest and most liquid tickers listed on the bourse.
Consequently, the exchange will delete Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG), HAGL Agriseco (HNG) and Itaco (ITA) from the index. These changes are made as part of the biannual review of major indexes.
The free-float rate for NVL, ROS and SAB will be 35%, 25% and 15%, respectively.
Besides the three newcomers, present in the VN30 Index are also financials BIDV (BID), VietinBank (CTG), Baoviet Holdings (BVH), MBBank (MBB), Vietcombank (VCB), Sacombank (STB), PV Gas (GAS), Masan Group (MSN), MobileWorld (MWG), KIDO Group (KDC), Vingroup (VIC) and Vinamilk (VNM).
The changes will take effect from July 24, 2017 to January 19, 2018.
As of June 30, the VN30 Index had grown 21.84% since the start of the year, beating a 16.8% increase of the benchmark VN-Index.

The index is now the underlying gauge for several exchange-traded funds such as Vietnam’s E1VFVN30 ETF and South Korea’s INDEX Vietnam VN30 ETF.
